New York will be involved with 'Earth Hour' which takes place on Saturday 29th March 2014. Organised by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) this event is growing yearly as Cities and Towns around the world promote awareness of the environment and saving energy from the worlds resources.
Landmarks and Businesses will be showing their support from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Walgreens, Times Square, New York,
Individuals can also take part by turning off lights for the Earth Hour!
